Bei bis zu 20% der Patient*innen mit Penicillin-Allergie Diagnose haben Symptome wie Kopfschmerzen, Diarrhoe, Müdigkeit oder Schwindel fälschlicherweise zu dieser Diagnose geführt. Die Angabe Penicillin-Allergie kann direkt aus der Akte entfernt werden, wenn die Reaktion(en), die zur Diagnose der Penicillin-Allergie geführt hat, nicht zu einer Reaktion aus dem allergologischen Formenkreis gehört. Dieser Vorgang wird als Direktes Delabeling bezeichnet. Wichtig ist, dass Sie dies mit Ihren Patient*innen besprechen und diese aufklären, so dass falls notwendig Penicilline verordnet werden können
Im Folgenden sind beispielhafte Algorithmen zur Abklärung einer anamnestisch angegebenen Penicillin-Allergie dargestellt. Es kann dementsprechend keine endgültige Empfehlung zum Vorgehen bei anamnestisch angegebener Penicillin-Allergie geben. Ziel des Penicillin-Allergie-Netzwerks Deutschland ist die Entwicklung und Umsetzung einer Delabeling-Strategie in Deutschland.
